DIRECTOR STATEMENT

My first action film.  Anthony Torres and I first spoke about this film at the very end of 2001. At first, this film was meant to be a comedy, but after discussing it many times over the phone and through emails, we noticed this film was a little more serious than we thought. The Agent was also Chris' first film in dealing with professional stuntmen. A big thank you to the men of East Coast Training Systems and the tremendous effort by Drew Serrano for putting the awesome fight scenes together.

PRODUCTION NOTES

Well what can I say about this one? My first stab at a martial arts film. I had no idea what I was doing or how to set this film up. :o) But you live and learn right?  Absolutely! This film paved the way for me and the relationships I now have with Team Bergamo's stunt crew.  There were some HOT days on this shoot.  I was still inexperienced on scheduling too.  A few days of shooting I had the actors and the stuntmen come all the way down for the shoot and never actually used them.  I know this is common but it was something I didn't want to ever do again, especially on a low budget short. People sacrifice their time and money to be on set, and if you can't get to them because of a failure on your part, then you could look real bad.
